Thank you for visiting my online home base, Mywellbrain! My name is Paula Dunbar.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Marketing (B.S.) from the University of Phoenix (2008) and a strong interest in Psychology. I also just became a Certified Life Coach and a Certified Health Coach.
I developed an interest in memory after my mother was diagnosed with dementia. My Dad researched supplements to help her from the beginning. He then took care of her for about 20 years with dementia. She almost never lost her memory, just other functions, like talking. It’s devastating to watch.
What Happened Next…
I had some other physical issues that caused some brain fog, which were curable with surgery. After that was solved, I still worried about brain fog after having gone through chemotherapy in previous years. My oncologist told me that ‘chemo brain’ is a real thing. But after getting through other medical issues that affect memory and brain function, I wanted to learn how to get back to my 20’s ‘brain self’.
I highly encourage you to check with your doctor if you are having memory or brain function concerns to rule out a medical problem or deficiency. Not necessarily Alzheimer’s, but anything you are concerned about.
Paying it forward…
After have learned so much about memory and brain function and want to pay it forward by sharing with you what’s happening in the area of brain health. And let you know what works and what is worth trying.
I am feeling amazing a year after starting mywellbrain.com and adding more supplements that I’ve learned about and shared here.
